Kenyon Lee Whitman (Educational Psychology, Leadership, and Higher Education) led a webinar in collaboration with the UCLA Center for the Transformation of Schools, that discussed his recent co-authored report titled, "Foster(ing) Youth in the CSU System: Understanding the Vital Role of Campus Support Programs."

LeAnne Salazar Montoya (Educational Psychology, Policy and Leadership) was selected as the 2023 Hispanic Educator's Association of Nevada's (HEAN) Keynote Speaker for the 35th Annual Hispanic Baccalaureate for CCSD's seniors who have met the organizational criteria's for participation. Over 1600 graduates participated in the ceremony.  
Jacob D. Skousen (Educational Psychology, Leadership, and Higher Education) and R. Karlene McCormick-Lee published a chapter in the second edition of Funding Public Schools in the United States, Indian Country, and U.S. Territories. The chapter focused on the state of Nevada and the public school funding mechanisms.
Alpha Chi Omega national has selected LeAnne Montoya (Educational Psychology, Leadership, and Higher Education) for their inaugural Social Justice Institute. This institute is a national initiative to support, empower and educate alumni to assist them in preparing serve their communities.
