Submit Official Transcripts, including Military Training Transcripts
You must submit official transcripts from each college or university you have attended to the Office of Admissions. If you have fewer than 24 transferable credits, you must also submit an official high school transcript. All military members using VA education benefits must submit their military training transcripts to the Office of Admissions. Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, and Navy can . Air Force must contact to request a transcript.

Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships
Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will help you gain additional assistance with paying for college. You’ll also be automatically considered for institutional scholarships. Visit to complete your FAFSA using UNLV’s federal code 002569. Learn more about financial aid and scholarships at .

Log in to your MyUNLV account at . Select the Admissions tile to accept your admission, and select the Tasks tile to view any incomplete items on your To Do List.

Apply for your VA Education Benefits
Determine your eligibility and apply for your VA benefits at . If your application is approved, you will receive a VA Certificate of Eligibility in approximately 30 days. You will upload a copy when requesting enrollment certification through the Military & Veteran Services Center (MVSC).

Your ACE account allows you to log into various UNLV services and applications, including , and on-campus computers with just one username and password. You will also need to set up Okta and Multifactor Authentication using a smartphone.

This is the university’s official means of communicating with you, and using your account is mandatory. When you activate your Rebelmail, you will have access to Google Workspace applications such as Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calendar, and Google Drive.

Log in to your MyUNLV account at . Use the Tasks tile to regularly monitor your To-Do List and Communication Center throughout your application process and studies at UNLV for important notifications. MyUNLV allows you to manage everything, including registering for classes, checking your grades, and paying your tuition and fees.

Visit unlv.edu/finaid/veterans/checklist for a detailed checklist of your chapter VA Education Benefits. Complete all items for the applicable chapter.

Meet with your Academic Advisor
All new students are required to meet with an Academic Advisor. Schedule an advising appointment through the Rebel Success Hub at , using the same email address and password from your UNLV admission application. Make sure your Academic Advisor is aware of your use of VA education benefits, as they will be part of the certification approval process.

Request Certification Each Semester through MyUNLV
Log in to your MyUNLV account at . After enrolling in your required courses, navigate to the Rebel Student Homepage and select the Resources tile. Then, choose the VA Education Benefits. Please be prepared to upload documents such as your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) and the NSHE Determination of Tuition Charges form if you did not graduate from a Nevada high school. MVSC will contact you through Rebelmail if additional information is needed.

Submit Immunization Records
The state of Nevada requires all students to submit proof of vaccinations prior to attending. For requirements, visit unlv.edu/registrar/immunizations.

Make the most of your college experience by living on campus. Explore housing and dining options at unlv.edu/housing. Submit your residence hall application by the priority deadline of July 1.

To register for our Rebel Vet Transition Orientation, log in to your MyUNLV account at . Select the Tasks tile and click on the New Student Orientation Registration link available in your To Do List.
