Familiarize yourself with your MyUNLV account. Regularly check the Tasks tile for important notifications and any To Do List items. MyUNLV allows you to manage things such as registering for classes, checking grades, and paying your tuition and fees.

Submit Official Documents (Transcripts and Test Scores)
Before attending New Student Orientation, submit any in-progress or final official documents to the Office of Admissions so that you will be placed in the appropriate level courses: (ugdocuments@unlv.edu)

• High School Transcript

• College Transcript(s) - including any dual enrollment college-level credits completed while in high school; admissions requires the official college transcript showing the earned credits.

• ACT/SAT Scores

• AP/IB Test Scores

• CLEP Scores

• IB Certificate or Diploma Program

Your ACE account allows you to log into various UNLV services and applications, including , and on-campus computers with just one username and password. You will also need to set up Okta and Multifactor Authentication using a smartphone.

This is the university’s official means of communicating with you, and using your account is mandatory. When you activate your Rebelmail, you will have access to Google Workspace applications such as Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calendar, and Google Drive.

You can log into the Rebel Success Hub with your ACE account to find answers to frequently asked questions, complete your financial aid verification, or submit your immunization records. You can also request help from various offices.

 Log into your OISS Portal and submit your I-20 Request

• Your will be available 48 hours after you have been admitted to UNLV.

• Use your ACE credentials to log into the .

  • If you are having trouble logging in please email internationaladmissions@unlv.edu.

• Submit an I-20 Request with your required documents:

  • Copy of valid passport

  • Confidential Financial Certification Form (CFC)

    • Available for download in “Step 4” of your I-20 Request.

  • Bank Letter

    • Cannot be older than twelve months from the start of the program, must be signed, dated, and stamped by the bank.

  • Transfer-In form - Students already studying in the U.S. must fill out an online transfer in form in “Step 2” of the I-20 Request. The “approver” information must be the DSO at your current institution. You can email them the form, by clicking on “send reminder.” UNLV cannot issue your transfer I-20 until we receive your SEVIS record. The UNLV School code can be found in “Step 2” of your I-20 Request.

• Submit this documentation as soon as possible to expedite the processing of your Form I-20. The priority deadline to submit is six weeks prior to the program start date listed on the Form I-20. If you are having trouble uploading all these documents in “Step 3” of your I-20 Request, please email all documents in PDF format to internationaladmissions@unlv.edu

• Students outside of the U.S.: online and schedule your visa interview after you receive the Form I-20.

Schedule an Appointment With Your Advisor
International students must speak with an academic advisor in the area of their major in order to register for classes.

Submit Immunization Records
All enrolled students who attend classes on campus must provide documentation of immunizations. We recommend you submit these as soon as possible to prevent possible registration holds on your account. Some immunizations do expire, so you may be required to submit updated immunization records. Find out what’s required and where to submit your proof of immunizations.

Explore On-Campus Housing & Dining
Make the most of your college experience by living on campus. Learn more about your housing and dining choices. The priority deadline for residence hall applications is June 1.

Attend New International Student Orientation & Register for Classes
New International Student Orientation is a mandatory, one-day program to help you make a successful transition to UNLV. You will also learn about the many resources available to you, meet students in your major, and learn about campus life. Orientation registration details will be emailed to your Rebelmail account.

• For international students still working on securing an F1 visa abroad, virtual orientation will be available. To sign up for one of these sessions, please follow the instructions posted on our orientation page. In addition to your virtual orientation you will need to contact your advising center to set up an appointment to enroll in courses. For more questions about orientation, please email orientation@unlv.edu.

Complete the International Student Check-in Process
All newly admitted international students must complete the international student check-in process with International Student and Scholar Services. You must report to them by your program start date to maintain lawful F-1 status. You may enter the country 30 days before your official program start date shown on your Form I-20. Look for your check-in instructions in your Rebelmail. Schedule an appointment or video conference for assistance.

Review Your Tuition & Payment Options
View your account balance, pay your tuition and fees, learn about deadlines, or sign up for a monthly payment plan on MyUNLV. Be sure to pay your tuition and fees before the start of the semester to avoid late fees.

Attend Rebel Ready Week
All incoming first year international students are required to attend Rebel Ready Week the week before fall semester begins. All incoming transfer international students are strongly encouraged to attend Rebel Ready Week. Rebel Ready Week is designed to help you gain a sense of belonging and prepare you for a less-stressful first year and a more successful college experience overall. You’ll be assigned to a group and paired with a Rebel Ready Week leader. Together you'll participate in small and large group sessions, listen to keynote speakers, meet new people, and attend various workshops. Throughout the week, you'll also have the chance to attend breakout sessions on topics that interest you. Registration will open after you attend orientation
