Accomplishments: Department of Art

Tiffany Lin (Art) delivered a lecture at UNR in the department of art in which she discussed recent works on American life, history, and ecology of the Mojave. 
Emily Budd (Art) has had her sculptural work selected for the group exhibition, Mixed Media, at Site:Brooklyn Gallery. The exhibition runs until May 22.
Laurence Myers Reese (Art) spoke at the 2022 Conney Conference for Jewish Arts at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, about his thesis work "In the Image of (Towards a Trans Talmud)," an interdisciplinary work investigating themes of intersex, trans, and genderqueer identity in Jewish texts. He is a graduate student.
Laurence Myers Reese (Art) presented his thesis work "In the Image of... (Towards a Trans Talmud)" at the Western Jewish Studies Association annual conference at the University of Oklahoma, Norman. His work was part of a panel on Modern Jewish Identities with scholars from Israel and the U.S. He is a graduate student.
Tiffany Lin (Art) is part of the Migrate, a temporary art installation in the Wetlands Park Nature Preserve with installments by local artists reflecting the theme of "Migration and Movement."

Susanna Phillips Newbury (Art) reviewed the Nevada Museum of Art's fall exhibition "Land Art: Expanding the Atlas."
