(Art) was recognized earlier this month as the January Citizen of the Month for the city of Las Vegas. The presentation was made by Councilwoman Olivia Diaz. Douglas is co-founder of , curator of the recent exhibition at UNLV, a member of the Las Vegas Paiute Tribe, and former tribal councilwoman. She is also an MFA candidate.
