The Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV Office of Human Resources is the liaison with the main campus Human Resources Office and the first point of contact for the Kerkorian School of Medicine employees. We are responsible for processing all Human Resources transactions in Workday and can assist you with multiple services, as well as answer any questions or concerns you may have.

If we are not able to assist you, our representatives will refer you to the appropriate main campus Human Resources business partner.

Request Service

The preferred method is to use the service request forms below. These forms are designed to streamline processes and ensure the required information is provided.

You can also email hr.recruitment@medicine.unlv.edu for recruitment and hiring requests, and hr.som@medicine.unlv.edu for all other requests.

This form is for all recruited positions, Classified, Administrative, and Academic Faculty.

The following documents are required before proceeding, requests submitted without the appropriate documentation may result in a delay.

  • Completed Position Description Questionnaire (PDQ) for academic or administrative faculty positions or NPD-19 for classified positions.
  • Organizational charts showing the position to be filled.

This form is for all types of Part-Time Instructors and Letters of Appointment.

  • CV or Resume of the candidate
  • Job description or list of duties to be performed

This form is for Students, Hourly, and Volunteers Hires.
