Located in the heart of Las Vegas, the Department of Dance strives to train world-class dancers who meet the growing needs of the entertainment capital of the world. The scope of the training exceeds the Las Vegas commercial dance form. The international exchanges, world-renowned guest artists, and high-caliber artistic training give UNLV students a global understanding of the art of dance. As a cultural center, the department of dance brings the residents of Las Vegas the highest caliber of artistic concert dance. UNLV is "A World of Dance!"

What's Happening
The production features exciting choreography and lighting design by talented Bachelor of Fine Arts majors in performance and choreography, and dance production and management.
This free event features art exhibitions, live music, dance and theatre performances, film demonstrations, food and wine tastings, a beer garden, and much more.
This concert celebrates the 16-year relationship between UNLV Dance and Korea National Sport University of Seoul.
Chair of dance Louis Kavouras leads a talk about experimental composer Lucia Dlugoszewski, who created a body of music uniquely steeped in poetry, aesthetics, philosophy, and abstraction.
The season begins with a very special percussion concert 'Experiential Awareness' Sept. 18.
