Our research partnership with EAB provides everyone at UNLV with resources to learn about best practices in higher education and discover actionable insights. EAB works closely with leaders within each division across the university to support strategic thinking and execution. All faculty, staff, and administrators across campus have access to EAB's website and can tap into the research, ready-to-use toolkits, on-demand webinars, and other resources that are available as part of our partnership.
What is EAB?
EAB, formerly known as the Education Advisory Board, is a private firm that specializes in providing research, consulting, and technology to help education institutions fulfill their mission.
Expanded Membership and Personalized Support
With partnership, faculty and staff gain access to an expanded suite of individualized resources, including consultations with EAB subject matter experts and researchers. EAB experts, who are well-versed in a range of specialized topics, can support your needs at all stages of the decision making process, from conducting research to advising on the design and implementation of solutions.
Research Expertise
Each year, EAB identifies prominent topics within higher education to investigate. Within each topic, they compile research and data, identify trends, and prepare solutions and guidance for addressing challenges on campus. Each of the include specialized research and tools for strategic decision-making, professional development, and best practices for driving growth on campus.

EAB experts consult an extensive research library and secondary sources to find and compile the most relevant information. They conduct research on an ongoing basis, ensuring that they provide us with the most up-to-date data and solutions. Campus liaisons can help connect you with an EAB expert in your subject area.
EAB can also collect publicly available information about other institutions, including UNLV's peer and aspirational institutions, providing a more localized perspective.

EAB can facilitate customized workshops, leadership retreats, and working sessions virtually and in-person on campus, promoting growth and professional development within individual units and teams. Whether you have strategic planning questions, are seeking guidance on managing workplace culture, or looking to expand your professional development programs, EAB can work with you to brainstorm, research, and design a workshop to meet your needs. EAB hosts numerous events throughout the year to bring higher education professionals together to strategize and learn.

Getting Started
To make full use of EAB's services, faculty and staff can use their @unlv.edu email address to log in or create an account at . Click on the "Partner Log In" button at the top to get started. Once logged in, there are a number of quick start actions to customize your experience and get the information you're interested in delivered straight to your dashboard.
Set up your EAB dashboard
Customize your dashboard to show the tools, resources, and research that matter to you. Save helpful articles and filter resources by topic and type.
Navigate to the "My EAB" tab in the header and select "My ."
Subscribe to research forums
Get the latest research developments sent straight to your email by subscribing to any of the ten diverse areas where EAB conducts yearly research.
Contact the campus liaison for your area
Campus liaisons assist with connecting faculty and staff to relevant EAB experts and offer guidance about accessing and utilizing EAB's research tools.
Other resources are accessible from your dashboard, including Partner Services where you can view offerings of presentations, surveys, and analyses. Upcoming events hosted by EAB are also listed, with many targeted to Cabinet members and upper administration leaders.
