Retirement Announcement: Carina Parisey

After more than 27 years of service, Facilities Management’s Carina Parisey will retire from UNLV on Nov. 1. 

Parisey began her career with the State of Nevada as an administrative assistant for secretary of state Dean Heller. She joined UNLV’s Facilities Management team in 1997 where she worked her way up to her current role as personnel technician 3. 

Parisey is a dedicated employee who goes out of her way to answer questions and make sure everyone is included. A certified personal chef, she is known for bringing large meals for her coworkers to share and organizing food fundraisers to help the community. A dedicated matriarch to her family and positive role model in the community, Parisey enjoys volunteering to feed the homeless with her son each month. 

Thank you Carina Parisey, for your hard work and contributions. We wish you a happy retirement - you will be missed.
