Sol Martinez (Music) was featured in a National Urban Indian Family Coalition national campaign ad urging Indigenous people to vote. A sophomore, she is a member of the UNLV Native American Student Association and has roots in several Indigenous groups: Las Vegas Paiute, Moapa Paiute, Cheyenne, Pawnee, Creek, as well as Durango, Mexico.
