UNLV Performing Arts Center Welcomes Duo Siqueira Lima Feb. 15
Duo Siqueira Lima – Uruguayan Cecilia Siqueira and Brazilian Fernando Lima – appear as part of Allegro Guitar Series at UNLV.
The collection includes more than 10,000 records; rare concert and self-recordings; and jottings, posters, artwork, and other memorabilia.
The photography exhibit is open to the public daily from 9am-5:30pm. The opening reception is Jan. 31 from 6-9pm.
Kurzweil, author, inventor and futurist, will discuss the impact of 21st century technology on business, economy and society.
The book shifts between the perpetrator and the victim and between the aftermath and the years leading to the rape in Nigeria.
Awarded by the Arts and Humanities Foundation, the Umhoefer Prize honors individuals who have made significant contributions to the humanities.
