Details
Studies have shown links between food insecurity and cognitive functioning, stress, motivation, and focus. The economic fallout from the coronavirus pandemic compounded these conditions, putting significant strain on students' ability to successfully navigate their overall college experience.
UNLV, CSN, and Nevada State College each house food pantries on their respective campuses. The “Turn Up the Heat on Hunger” food drive aims to ramp up donations to these campus food pantries through which students, staff, and faculty can obtain supplemental food and non-food items needed to support their households.
How to Donate
Donations can be made in person at any of the participating campus locations or via our . Online donors may designate the pantry of their choice at checkout.
