The UNLV Food Pantry is a year-round resource that provides perishable and non-perishable food items to students, staff, and faculty who need additional support. To access Food Pantry assistance, all clients must present one of the following:
- A Rebel ID Card
- Proof of employment at UNLV
- Proof of class registration at UNLV
History
During 2010, several members of the President’s Advisory Committee organized a holiday food drive to benefit members of the UNLV community who were facing economic duress due to the forced pay cuts and furloughs. The response from both donors and recipients was tremendous, and the UNLV Food Pantry was born. The Food Pantry is supported by UNLV CSUN, GPSA, and the School of Integrated Health Sciences.
