What
UNLV will host a forum to mark the 40th anniversary of Title IX, the education amendments of 1972 which prohibits sexual discrimination in education programs, provide equal opportunity in athletics, and protect against discrimination based on pregnancy.
Panelists will examine the impact of Title IX - how it affected women in educational leadership roles, its history and its application today.

- Judith Sweet, Alliance of Women Coaches Co-Director and former NCAA Senior Vice President for Championships and Education Services (primary contact for Title IX and Gender Equity Initiatives)
