Buckingham bought the ranch earlier this year, she said, because the previous owner refused to let Texas build a border wall across it.

LVGP has committed $1 million in cash to local nonprofit organizations and $1 million in event tickets to honor residents identified as key community contributors, including local education staff, Make-A-Wish patients and others. A new exhibit on the Holocaust has opened at the Nevada governor's office in Las Vegas. Gov. Joe Lombardo's office, the Nevada Center for Humanity, and the UNLV Reid Public History Institute hosted an open house Tuesday for the exhibit, titled "The Holocaust: Reconstructing Shattered Humanity."
