Yeunkyung Kim (Healthcare Administration and Policy) and Jihye Kim (Epidemiology and Biostatistics) published an article titled, "Racial Disparity in Disruption to Basic Needs Among Medicare Beneficiaries During the COVID-19 Pandemic," in the Journal of the American Medical Directors Association (JAMDA). The authors' primary objective was to examine racial disparity in ability to access basic needs (such as pay rent/mortgage and access household supplies) during the pandemic.
