USAC believes strongly that the country is an important enhancement to the classroom and encourages you to take part in the field trips and tours available to augment your experience abroad. Conversation partners, student activities, sporting events, and host university sponsored student trips are available in many programs.

Knowledge

The knowledge you gain will come from all around the classroom, field trips and living your life abroad. The classroom is a key component as USAC's specialty programs offer the opportunity to fulfill up to two years of language study in one semester. Language courses offered vary from beginning to advanced. There is no previous language study required for participation in any USAC program. If you are working toward a language major or minor, many language and literature courses offered may help you fulfill that goal. USAC also offers full curriculum programs in many English-speaking countries that allow students to enroll in most courses offered by the host university.
