Dean's Fund for Excellence

with a gift at any level to address evolving student support and professional development program needs to support our students’ success and our Top Tier goals. , become a Dean's Associate, the inner-circle of Graduate College supporters, and help guide us as we take concrete steps toward achieving our Top Tier goals. With your gift at this level, you will also become part of the UNLV 1957 Society and receive special communications and invitations throughout the year.

Scholarships & Fellowships

in offering a variety of merit-based scholarships and fellowships to help offset the cost of graduate education for students. A named scholarship can be established with a gift of $5,000 or more.

Graduate Student Emergency Support Fund

The Graduate Student Emergency Support Fund provides emergency retention grants to graduate students experiencing financial hardship. These grants help students with one-time needs that will allow them to progress in their programs.

Community Graduate Assistant Opportunities

Financially support our best and brightest students so that they can focus on their studies and develop their professional skills. Organizations looking to accelerate research in their field can sponsor Community Graduate Research Assistantships (view an example). The Grad Academy

The Grad Academy provides comprehensive leadership, career, and professional development opportunities to prospective and current graduate and professional students. help fund four academic support certifications; six programs; and an array of workshops, trainings, and seminars all designed to cultivate specialized skill sets that prepare graduate students for employment as leaders in their fields.

My passion as a social scientist is explaining human behavior and the emergent social order, but pursing one’s passion can be costly. Scholarships and fellowships reduced these costs, allowing me to immerse myself in my studies, distraction-free.
