Welcome to UNLV! Every semester the Graduate College hosts the New Graduate Student Orientation for our incoming Grad Rebels. Whether you are new to campus or an alumnus you will learn important information unique to graduate studies at UNLV. You will also have a wonderful opportunity to meet other graduate students and get even more insider tips on how to survive and thrive in your graduate studies!
You will also participate in Graduate College Day, a day of graduate student-specific programming held in conjunction with Rebel Ready Week.
Graduate College Day programming will include:
- Rebel Ready Week keynote session on Holistic Health and Wellness at the Thomas & Mack Center
- Lunch with UNLV graduate coordinators and deans
- Graduate student-specific Passport Sessions on financing your education, connecting with faculty on research, and graduate student advising.
- New Graduate Student Orientation Welcome Mixer.
Fall Orientation Program
Beginning June 24, 2024, new graduate students will have access to the New Graduate Student Orientation modules in their . To prepare for life as a Grad Rebel, new graduate students are required to log in, listen to and interact with the modules, and complete the assigned tasks. The information in the modules is important for new Grad Rebels to know to be successful in their graduate program.
