AI-Powered Progress at UNLV
Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the future of education and work, and UNLV is empowering faculty and staff to explore its potential. The Generative AI Fellows Pilot Program is a key initiative that reflects the university’s forward-thinking approach to integrating AI across teaching, research, and operations. Through such strategic efforts, UNLV is positioning itself at the forefront of academic innovation, equipping its community to embrace the evolving role of AI in shaping more effective learning environments, accelerating research breakthroughs, and streamlining administrative processes.
This inaugural program offers academic and administrative faculty members a unique opportunity to deepen their understanding of generative AI tools and applications. Participants will engage with AI across one of three focus areas:
- Integrating AI into Teaching and Learning
- Advancing Research with AI
- Optimizing Administrative Operations with AI
Fellows will receive training and then serve as resources for their colleagues, sharing their knowledge and helping expand AI literacy across the university community.
