Her dissertation is an interdisciplinary qualitative study where she is interviewing stakeholders in the foster care system asking their perceptions of factors that contribute to failed permanency placements. Teresa is a licensed attorney in New Mexico and worked as a judicial law clerk for Clark County Family Court - Dependency Division before returning to school for her PhD.
