Admission Requirements for First-Year Students
We accept both the and our for incoming first-year students only. No preference is given to either the UNLV Application or the Common Application – we recommend students choose the most convenient application. UNLV is test-optional, but test scores are encouraged for UNLV course placement. Request to have your scores sent to UNLV from or when you register for the test. Merit-Based Scholarships
UNLV offers a variety of scholarship programs for both Nevada residents and non-residents. For scholarship consideration, our priority deadline is Nov. 15, 2022. Students must complete the FAFSA or Alternate Need Form, and be admitted to UNLV by this date for priority consideration. There is no separate application for students to be considered.
