I chose UNLV because of how close it was to home. I also loved the friendly and helpful people on campus, making me feel right at home!

It would definitely be UNLV's gym or recreational center because of how easily accessible it is. I also like the Lied Library because of its wide variety of places to study in.

I chose UNLV because it is close to home, not only that but how diverse Las Vegas is. I wanted to be a rebel and get opportunities at UNLV. It is one of those once in a lifetime moments and I want to make the most of it.

Getting involved is important because it will bring new friendships into your life. It will also bring you amazing memories and moments for you to enjoy and look back to in the future. You can shape your future by the network you build, the friends you make, and the clubs you join.

My favorite thing to do on campus is go to the gym, where I can enjoy working out and making new friends.

I choose UNLV primarily for the amazing hospitality program. But also all of the amazing opportunities UNLV offers. From housing and clubs to all of the internships and study abroad programs.

The best study spot on campus is at the Starbucks inside the Engineering Building. I love to get a coffee while I study and this Starbucks is a bit more tucked away from the rest of campus so it isn’t as crowded!

Getting involved on campus is so important. It helps you build community here. Joining clubs and sports help you find like minded individuals that become part of your UNLV family. As an out of state student I found creating my circle here at UNLV really made it feel like home.

I chose UNLV for the diversity the campus offers, because of how many student events they hold each year, the many unique places on campus to visit, and for the Theatre program they offer.

The best study spot on campus is the rooftop on the fourth floor of the Hospitality building! You get a view of the whole strip and during the spring I love to study outdoors!

My favorite thing to do on campus is to help out with any of the Theatre Plays going on throughout the year or go to the student union for lunch with friends!

I was born and raised here in Vegas, so UNLV was the closest, most comfortable option for me to continue my post-secondary education. There’s always something happening on campus everyday! I love hanging out with friends on campus, running over to the Student Union to grab a quick bite, and working out at the SWRC! I didn’t want to move away from home for university because I made such amazing friends over these past few years that I still want to stay connected. Also, UNLV has an amazing, established engineering program here that best suits my interests for my career goals later on in my life.

If you see me playing with a cube-like object in my hand during the tour, that is my fidget cube toy! It helps me stay concentrated, in focus, and lowers my anxiety. I am a relatively shy and introverted person but I’m slowly stepping out of my comfort zone and working on my social and communication skills! Even though I’m a new UNLV student, I recently graduated from College of Southern Nevada (CSN) as of Fall 2023, I’ll be more than happy to answer any questions I know!

Personally, I love to study up on the 5th floor in the Lied Library! It has a really cool lounge area that overlooks the whole library with comfy booth seats for me and my friends to hang at! It also has a lovely view over the Vegas Strip and valley with large spanning windows and spacious tables and seats towards the back.

I chose UNLV because of the benefits UNLV was offering me. I did not have to search far for my major and UNLV offers a great criminal justice program. When I was in high school, I took a tour around UNLV and the campus is so unique. It felt like I was not even in Las Vegas. The scenery at UNLV is unlike anything. Everything is walkable. The faculty at UNLV made me feel welcome and helped me every step of the way. 

My favorite thing to do on campus is eat! I love food and UNLV has a lot of it. There is not just one designated area for food. Food is everywhere on campus. If you are on the STEM side of campus, Subway is your best friend. If you are by the Lied Library, Coffee Bean is your best friend. Even when you get off campus, there is food after food places. On top of that, walking distance is not too far, no need to drive! 

I chose UNLV because of how diverse the student body is. I was confident that at UNLV, even though I would be far from home, I would be able to share in others’ celebrations of my own culture. I also love meeting individuals from different backgrounds and cultures, and I knew that UNLV would provide me with that opportunity.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is by far my favorite study spot on campus! We have a bathroom and a microwave inside. But most importantly, we’ve got coffee! When doing solo study sessions, this is a fantastic spot!

Getting involved on campus is extremely important because it helps you get out of your shell. It also helps you build connections and lifelong relationships. 

I chose UNLV because of the diversity on campus plus I have family that lives in Henderson that I wanted to be close to.

Don't be afraid to ask questions! Whether it's about campus or my personal experience here, I find tours more fun and memorable when you all ask questions and it is more personable rather than 100% scripted information.

My favorite thing to do on campus is to see the many organizations that setup on the rebel market place. It's a cool thing to do in your pastime when you have a hot minute in between classes.

I chose UNLV because being on campus makes me feel like I belong and it is the place I feel I can just be myself!

My favorite thing to do on campus is to go to all the different events that are happening to meet new people and eat at the student union with my roommate.

Getting involved on campus is important because you will meet some of the most amazing people who will be there for you when you need them and experience so many things you might have never done before.

I chose UNLV because the campus felt like a great place to be. It was the right mix of urban and green and felt like it would provide me with a lot of opportunities. 

My favorite thing to do on campus is explore! There are tons of neat little spots that you can find, and most people don’t take the time to see what there are! You can poke around the different colleges, hang out with the cats, or just find a quiet place to introspect or study. 

I chose UNLV because there's so many unique job opportunities in Las Vegas, especially because of the city's continual growth in the sports industry.

My favorite thing to do on campus is attend events hosted here and swipe all the free merchandise that I can! I also take advantage of my dining plan and eat at the commons with friends.

The best place I have found to study is either the study rooms in the dorms or the second floor of the Hospitality Hall!

I personally chose UNLV due to its Hospitality program rank being #1 best in the nation, and #2 worldwide. As well as the fact that it is occupied by roughly 63% of diverse students.

I chose UNLV for its performance arts connection and the history my family has here.

My favorite thing to do on campus is get involved in all the fun activities provided throughout the year.

I chose to attend UNLV because it was an affordable option which can help me save money for Graduate school. We are also the 2023 Mountain West runner-ups for Football which is cool because I want to be a physical therapist for athletes.

My favorite study spot on campus is the business building. It gives an outdoor type vibe because you are sitting in a courtyard, but it is covered so it does not feel like 100 degrees outside. Being outside helps me focus, but it is not super hot so I get the best of both worlds.

My favorite thing to do on campus is go to the student union and get food. There are quite a few options for food on-campus so I like choosing from the variety. Plus, it is a great spot to hang out with friends.
