Graduate Education

  • Established Grad Rebel Gateway, a dynamic platform that drives student engagement and faculty productivity at every touch point across the student lifecycle.
  • Established the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs to enhance and support postdoctoral training and career development.
  • Developed a Graduate Assistant GA Allocation model, guidelines for 3-year allocation, and GA program assessment.
  • Increased doctoral and MFA stipends, as well as instituted new market-based graduate assistant stipends.
  • Instituted Interdisciplinary Doctoral Graduate Programs in the Graduate College.
  • Developed Postdoc and Graduate Assistant Handbooks.
  • Established Community Graduate Research Assistants (CCRAs).
  • Expanded Grad Rebel Gateway to include Docusign online forms, student committee tracking and personalized portal for current students.
  • Implemented Curriculog for streamlined processing and tracking of curricular and program changes.
  • Instituted an annual process for Spring R2PC reports from each graduate program.
