Welcome
Step into the realm of the LGBTQ & Gender Program Coordinator, dedicated to serving UNLV’s vibrant LGBTQ student communities. This pivotal role involves crafting engaging programs, conducting student workshops, and offering resources, all aimed at affirming, educating, and empowering students. Beyond this, the Coordinator takes the lead in collaborating with LGBTQ students to foster a campus that is not just affirming but actively supports queer and trans individuals through education, outreach, programming, and structural change.
Two standout months in our programmatic calendar are LGBTQ Pride and Womxn’s HerStory Month. During these periods, the Program Coordinator endeavors to center the experiences and narratives of queer, trans, and women of color, creating an inclusive and empowering environment on campus. Welcome to a space where advocacy, education, and celebration converge!
