Max Kirske / Bandon Dunes / Oregon
“Interning at Bandon Dunes is an experience. Sixteen interns from all around the country live and work together while learning about what makes this resort one of the best in the country. We live in a four-building, 16-room complex named “The Quad,” which is across the road from multiple caddie and full-time employee housing units. Living just two miles from the resort, with unlimited golf to be played and a 20-minute walk to the beach, you should never have the excuse, ‘I don’t have anything to do.’ The town is small, but the experience is an opportunity of a lifetime.”
Brad Dorau / TPC River Highlands / Connecticut
“TPC River Highlands is an 18-hole private club located just south of Hartford, Connecticut and is host of the PGA Tour's Travelers Championship each summer. Interns at TPC RH are involved in all aspects of the golf operation, including club tournaments, merchandising, clubfitting, and teaching. As a PGM intern, you will have unlimited use of the club's 23-acre practice facility, which includes three separate practice greens and a 360-yard driving range. Another advantage of working at River Highlands is the opportunity to expand your connections throughout the TPC Network, which is comprised of over 30 private, resort, and daily fee properties around the world.”
Jake Dolby / The Wianno Club / Massachusetts
“This quaint, enriched club can be traced back to the late 1600's when the property was first purchased from the Native Americans. The club was officially founded in 1916, and through the brilliant routing of Donald Ross, this short, 6100 yard golf course proves to be more than a weekend getaway for some of the nations’ most powerful people. Reciprocal memberships with Augusta National, Pine Valley, The Country Club, Fishers Island, Old Sandwich, and San Francisco Golf Club, are what make Wianno Special. Interns will find themselves in awe when hearing various stories from these storied clubs. Wianno boasts a strong junior program and has an astounding family atmosphere. With the dorm complex 50 yards from the Nantucket Sound, the sights and sounds never get old. Interns at the Wianno Club span from across the world. A hospitality / PGA Intern will thrive on this coastal paradise on Cape Cod. Aside from living in one of the most desirable locations in the world, an intern will gain knowledge and experience with merchandising, PGA Junior League, Event and Tournament Management, and lastly how to conduct oneself with the members of Wianno.”
