Biography

Yarini Quezada, MD, FACOG, is an assistant professor and the division director of urogynecology & reconstructive pelvic surgery in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine Department of Gynecologic Surgery & Obstetrics. Dr. Quezada received her medical degree from St. George’s University. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Albert Einstein Medical Center and then went on to complete a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at The Christ Hospital/University of Cincinnati. Dr Quezada is dual board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in urogynecology & reconstructive pelvic surgery.

Dr. Quezada specializes in treating pelvic organ prolapse, urinary and fecal incontinence, voiding difficulties, interstitial cystitis, pelvic pain, mesh erosions, and fistula repairs. She has strong expertise in non-surgical treatments for these conditions and also in vaginal reconstruction surgery. Well-versed in newer technology, Dr. Quezada is experienced with InterStim and the MonaLisa Touch laser. Her work and research in urogynecology has been published nationally and she has presented at scientific meetings throughout the country.
