Biography
Sarah Chamanara, DO, is an assistant professor in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV Department of Pediatrics. Born in California, Dr. Chamanara earned her master’s degree in nutrition from Columbia University and received her medical degree from Touro University Nevada. After medical school, she went on to complete a residency in pediatrics at SIU School of Medicine.
Between her years of schooling, Dr. Chamanara has spent some time with children with autism, applying applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapies to help reach each child’s goal. She practiced in a local private practice for several years after completing residency.
