Biography
Howdy ‘dere! Lindsey Wigand is a Stage Manager that has mastered a two prong approach to stage management: people and paperwork.
Lindsey is originally from West Allis, WI. Currently, she is pursuing a master of fine arts in Stage Management at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She holds a bachelors of arts in Psychobiology and Theatre from Ripon College, Ripon, WI. Throughout her educational career she has taken courses in Scenic, Costume, and Makeup Design, and worked in Scenic, Electric, and Prop Shops. Additionally, her background in Psychobiology allows her to better understand and work with a variety of people. Altogether, her background makes her a well rounded stage manager.
Lindsey has a great passion for mentoring and educating young Stage Managers. Currently she mentors undergraduate Stage Managers at UNLV, and previously worked with the West Allis-West Milwaukee Theatre Department (where she started her Stage Management career in middle school) to mentor and train high school stage managers.
Her recents Stage Management credits include, Production Stage Manager for The Turn of the Screw, Le Comte Ory, and Pride and Prejudice, and Stage Manager for The Cherry Orchard at Nevada Conservatory Theatre. Additionally, she was the Assistant Stage Manager for Cheeseheads! The Musical and the world premier of The Fish Whisperer at Northern Sky Theatre.
At UNLV Lindsey has also discovered an enjoyment of designing and building props. Recently, she has been the props coordinator for Cinderella: A Pantomime for Las Vegas, Violet, and Crumbs from the Table of Joy.
