Biography
Sun is a professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the Ê×Ò³| Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³». He currently teaches courses in Photonics, Optical Sensing, Advanced Topics in Semiconductor Devices, Microwave. His primary research areas are Radiation hardness studies using proton, neutron, electron, gamma rays, X-rays, and UV lights; AlGaN semiconductor, electronics, and optoelectronics; GaN and SiC circuit system technologies; Photoelectron devices and systems; HEDP diagnostics; and, ultrafast laser spectroscopy. Established the Center of Excellence for Security Science and Engineering at UNLV and is an affiliated scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Molecular Foundry.
