Katherine Jackson
Associate Director, International Gaming Institute
Biography
Katherine Jackson is the Associate Director of the International Gaming Institute (IGI). She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration’s gaming program, and also has degrees from universities in the United Kingdom. During a 12-year executive career in England, Jackson served in project manager roles for several organizations, including Liverpool Hope University and the Liverpool Police Department.
In her role at UNLV, Jackson oversees the operations of IGI, the strategic development of the Institute, supports research and teaching activities, and manages the marketing communications for IGI and its Centers. She works closely with Executive Director of IGI and the Executive Directors of each IGI Center to ensure that all activities are aligned in strategy, brand, operations, and culture.
