Biography

Dr. Jungsun “Sunny” Kim received her Ph.D. in Hospitality Administration from the ҳ| 鶹ýӳ (UNLV). She received her M.S. in Hotel Administration also from UNLV and a B.S. in Hotel and Tourism Management from Kyung Hee University, South Korea. She also served on the faculty of Texas Tech University, teaching hospitality marketing and hospitality finance courses. In terms of scholarly endeavors, Dr. Kim has worked on the development of theoretical models to better understand customer and employee behavior toward diverse technologies and applications. More recently, Dr. Kim has conducted research in the gaming area, especially focusing on emerging Asian gaming markets such as S. Korea. As of 2016, Dr. Kim has published 25 peer-reviewed articles in academic journals, and her five articles are currently accepted by academic journals. She has contributed to both academia and industry by presenting her studies at more than 20 conferences held in the U.S., China, and S. Korea.
