Biography
Originally from South Korea, Seoul, Junghoon Lee moved to Las Vegas in 2015, where he attended the Ê×Ò³| Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» (UNLV) to earn his bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management - PGA Golf Management. During his time at UNLV, Junghoon served the industry through internships at TPC Summerlin, Las Vegas; Baltimore Country Club, Baltimore; TPC Jasna Polana, Princeton; and The Broadmoor, Colorado Springs.
Upon completion of his studies at UNLV, Junghoon became the Assistant Golf Professional at TPC Summerlin. Junghoon was responsible for golf operations; merchandising; tournament operation; player service attendants; and junior & ladies clinic. In May of 2019, Junghoon enrolled in UNLV Harrah College of Hospitality's master of science program. While pursuing his graduate degree, Junghoon was a Graduate Assistant for PGA Golf Management.
Upon graduation in 2021, Junghoon accepted the position of Program Coordinator for the UNLV PGA Golf Management Program. In his current role Junghoon is responsible for students' player development program and facility correspondence; teaching; and management of campus golf shop operations. Junghoon is the instructor of record for the PGA concentration (PGM 102, 110, 111, 402) and internship course.
