Biography
Jill Humphrey, MD, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV Department of Pediatrics. Originally from Maryland, she received her bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and then earned a dual MD/PhD degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Following up to this, Dr. Humphrey completed a residency in pediatrics at the Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine.
With her love of primary care medicine and a strong belief in the importance of the medical home, Dr. Humphrey began working at a busy private group practice in central Texas. She spent nearly 18 years at this practice and even served as a member of the group’s board of directors. With the goal of joining a growing pediatric primary care practice, Dr. Humphrey moved to Las Vegas where she excitedly joined the faculty at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine.
