Biography

Dr. Van Ness received her Ph.D. in special education from Arizona State University and has been a practicing school psychologist with the Clark County School District (CCSD) in Las Vegas for the last eight years. She is a board certified behavior analyst and a nationally certified school psychologist. Her areas of expertise include psychoeducational assessment practices, applied behavior analysis, and classroom behavior management. To date, her research largely examines the characteristics and unique needs of diverse learners, particularly students on the autism spectrum and students with emotional and behavioral disorders.
