Biography
Garrett Pace, Ph.D., MSW, is an assistant professor at the Ê×Ò³| Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» School of Social Work. He received his doctoral degree in social work and sociology from the University of Michigan. During his doctoral education, he was a population studies trainee at the Institute for Social Research. Prior to his doctoral education, he worked as a researcher for three years at the Center for Research on Child Wellbeing at Princeton University. Garrett’s research examines how family processes and social policies contribute to child and family wellbeing. Motivated by a children’s rights framework, his primary line of research (1) examines the correlates and consequences of family violence and (2) evaluates approaches to prevent family violence.
