Biography
Associate Professor Daniel Young joined the Physical Therapy Department during fall 2007 and teaches courses within the graduate Doctor of Physical Therapy program and Interprofessional Health Sciences Ph.D. program.
Daniel Young completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy training at Creighton University in 2002 and his Ph.D. in Public Health at the Ê×Ò³| Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³», in 2014. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the Ê×Ò³| Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³». He holds an appointment as an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, where he helps lead the Activity and Mobility Promotion (AMP) program.
His research aims to combat the immobility harm experienced by patients in the hospital by better understanding the access to, outcomes, and costs associated with inpatient rehabilitation efforts.
