Biography
Christina Hall is the Advocate Coordinator at the UNLV Jean Nidetch Care Center. For nearly a decade, she has been working in the anti-violence field as a volunteer, advocate, and preventionist. Originally from Long Beach, California, Christina received her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Women’s Studies at Brigham Young University, Provo and received a Master’s in Social Work at The Ê×Ò³| Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³». She began her work in the anti-violence field at a domestic violence shelter in Utah, where she discovered her passion for trauma-informed, healing-centered work.
After moving to Las Vegas, she discovered her dual passion for violence prevention and education based on her work as the Enough Abuse Program Coordinator with Prevent Child Abuse Nevada and as the Prevention and Education Manager at The Rape Crisis Center, Las Vegas. Christina has also worked as a health educator in the field of HIV/AIDS at the Southern Nevada Health District. She strives to address and prevent all forms of power-based violence and the systems that perpetrate them in the work that she does.
In her spare time she enjoys hiking, reading, and seeking out nature with her husband, children, and rescue dog, Kira.
