Biography
Mr. Chiante’ “C.J.” Jemison, received his M.S. in psychology with an emphasis in Addictions from Purdue University. His research interests include addiction studies, co-occurring disorders, and the criminal justice system. He is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor for the state of Nevada. One of his focus’ is working with individuals to transform their lives transitioning from jail and prison to receiving mandatory treatment in the Adult Drug Court program as an alternative to jail or prison sentencing. He is a member PSI CHI International Honor Society, Salute Veteran’s Honor Society, and the Alpha Beta Kappa Honor Society.
Research Expertise
His research interests involve substance use, mental health, co-occurring disorders, trauma, and psychopharmacology.
