Cameron Scharchburg Beyer

Biography
Cameron Scharchburg Beyer joined UNLV as a part-time instructor with the William F. Harrah College of Hospitality in 2023, bringing over a decade of industry experience from the Las Vegas Strip into the classroom. He currently is the vice president of operations at Caesars Entertainment within the company's Mountain West region where he drives EBITDA growth initiatives and provides analytical support. Perviously, Cameron was a grand opening team member with Resorts World Las Vegas as their director of sales strategy and operations. He has also held roles within finance, strategy, hotel operations and sales at MGM Resorts International, where he began his career as a front desk representative in Detroit before joining the company's Management Associate Program (MAP).
Cameron first became involved with UNLV's Hospitality College Mentor Programs in 2012 and has served as a mentor annually ever since.
A native of Michigan, Cameron holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from Eastern Michigan University and an MBA from The University of Michigan
