Biography
Beth C. Rosenberg teaches courses in 20th- and 21st-century British literature and culture, modernism, the essay, memoir, women's literature, and the history of British literature. She has published two books, Virginia Woolf and Samuel Johnson: Common Readers and a co-edited collection, Virginia Woolf and the Essay. She has also published on Elena Ferrante and Virginia Woolf, Caryl Phillips and Anita Desai, Jews and modernism, Woolf's essays, and methods for teaching modernism. Current research and interests are in creative nonfiction, its history and development, especially works written by women.
