Biography
Angelica Honsberg, MD, is from Wilmington, Delaware, and attended the University of Delaware for her undergraduate studies. She subsequently earned her medical degree from the Sidney Kimmel College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Following her internal medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University, she completed her training in pulmonary medicine at the University of Arizona Health Sciences in Tucson, Arizona, and did a subsequent fellowship in critical care medicine at the University Of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. Dr. Honsberg has a special interest in adult cystic fibrosis as well as the management of adult patients with non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis.
Dr. Honsberg has over 20 years of experience in pulmonary/critical care medicine and specializes in the management of pulmonary diseases and the care of critically ill patients. She has been the adult director for the Cystic Fibrosis Center of Southern Nevada for the past ten years. Prior to joining UNLV in 2016, Dr. Honsberg worked for the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare system.
Dr. Honsberg is board certified in pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine. She is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
