Biography
Amber Krushas received her doctoral degree in criminology and criminal justice from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and her bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in criminal justice from the University of Wisconsin. Her dissertation, Examining Theoretical Correlates of Personal Recurrent Victimization in Adulthood, explored how several victimological theories differentiated victims of recurrent victimization from nonvictims and those who experience single victimization.Her research interests include pathways to offending and victimization, victimology, corrections, at-risk youth, and program and policy evaluation. She has published in Journal of Interpersonal Violence, Race and Justice, Journal of Child & Adolescent Trauma, Victims & Offenders, and Child & Youth Services.
