Biography
Alexandria was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. She is a proud UNLV alumna. She graduated with her bachelor's degree in Communication Studies in 2020. Alex worked for the Student Diversity and Social Justice Office as a program assistant during her undergraduate career. As a program assistant, she helped advocate for students, create programs that helped them feel affirmed in their identities, and connected them to resources on campus. She also helped create a Rebel Award-winning resource guide called “For the Culture: Resources for the African Diaspora.” She is currently continuing her education as a UNLV graduate student. She is also taking Sign Language courses through CSN. One of her goals is to communicate with the Deaf community on campus without a translator. Alex is excited to join the Wilson Advising team as a First Year Academic Advisor. She wants to connect with the students and help them feel at home at UNLV. Alexandria enjoys learning new things. Her hobbies include building Lego figures, watching anime, playing video games, and hanging out with her family and six pets.
