The UNLV Upward Bound program announces its sponsorship of the Summer Food Service Program.
The Upward Bound program is a college preparatory program funded by the U.S. Department of Education. The Summer Food Service Program will be housed in the Hazel M. Wilson Dining Commons from June 17 through Aug. 2.
The program will provide a balanced breakfast, lunch, and dinner to 90 student participants. Free meals will be made available at the dining commons to those eligible, enrolled students participating in the Upward Bound program. Enrolled student participants between the ages of 13 and 17 will be served regardless of race, color, or national origin; age; sex; or disability. This is an enrolled site. However, if any person believes that he or she has been discriminated against, that person should contact the sponsor of the site or the secretary of agriculture in Washington, D.C.
