WHAT: Grand Tasting, the final event of the thirty-third annual UNLVino, one of the largest wine- and champagne-tasting fundraising events in the country

DETAILS: With more than 9,000 guests, 800 wines and 130 suppliers, UNLVino's Grand Tasting is one of the largest single days in wine tasting in the country, and, over the years, has raised millions of dollars for higher education. Wine lovers and wine makers sample hundreds of products from prestigious wineries around the country, all while supporting the advancement of students and scholarship at UNLV.
The event was co-created in 1974 by Jerry Vallen, founding dean of the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration, and Larry Ruvo, senior managing director of Southern Wine and Spirits of Nevada.
