WHAT: Grand Tasting, the final event of the 34th annual UNLVino, one of the largest wine- and
champagne-tasting fundraising events in the country

DETAILS: With more than 8,000 guests, 1,100 wines and 145 suppliers, UNLVino's Grand Tasting is one of the largest single days in wine tasting in the country. Wine lovers and wine makers sample hundreds of products from prestigious wineries from around the world, all while supporting the advancement of students and scholarship at UNLV.
The event was co-created in 1974 by Jerry Vallen, founding dean of the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration, and Larry Ruvo, senior managing director of Southern Wine and Spirits of Nevada.
