UNLV Warns of Magazine Scam Using University Name

UNLV officials have received reports of scam artists who are using the university's name in their efforts to sell magazines.

The peddlers have told prospective customers that they are honors students in the Hank Greenspun School of Communication.

UNLV does not participate in magazine subscription sales.
