<strong>WHAT:</strong> UNLV students and a host of campus and community organizations will gather to raise awareness about the growing problem of sexual assault and domestic violence during the university's annual Take Back the Night event.

<strong>DETAILS:</strong> Sponsored by the Jean Nidetch Women's Center at UNLV, Take Back the Night is an annual rally and resource fair to raise awareness of the growing problem of sexual and domestic violence. The event also offers attendees a chance to speak out against violence, remember victims and support survivors.
This year's event features a cross-campus march of supporters, "silent witness" displays courtesy of Safe Nest and the Journey Through Abuse - a multimedia timeline of sexual and domestic violence and their impact on society. Community organizations scheduled to attend include the Rape Crisis Center, Safe Nest, Nevada Coalition Against Sexual Violence, Planned Parenthood and more. UNLV and high school domestic violence prevention groups will also be present.
