Throughout November and December, UNLV's office of student financial services, in conjunction with the Clark County School District, will offer a series of financial aid workshops.
At the workshops, students and parents will learn about recent changes in the financial aid application and also about the steps to take in financing a higher education.
Each of the workshops is scheduled for 6-7:30 p.m. at a local high school and will be open to the public.
The workshops are scheduled as follows:
-- Nov. 3, Las Vegas High School, 6500 E. Sahara Ave.
-- Nov. 10, Community College High School East, located at the Community College of Southern Nevada, 3200 E. Cheyenne Ave., North Las Vegas.
-- Nov. 19, Western High School, 4601 W. Bonanza Road.
-- Dec. 1, Green Valley High School, 460 Arroyo Grande Ave., Henderson.
-- Dec. 3, Valley High School, 2839 Burnham Ave.
-- Dec. 10, Cheyenne High School, 3200 W. Alexander Road.
